It's time to dust this off and get using this site again.

Going to start with a redesign, just not happy with it at the moment.

Then I'll be adding a new area for the diet I'm about to start. I suspect that area will get the most attention as I'll be blogging my diet as it happens in a style similar to Tyler over at www.344pounds.com.

More to come, and look for the changes on site design to be happening very soon (might have already happened depending on when you read this).

Well my primary computer kinda got FUBAR'd a little bit (hence the absence). The Vista install I was running became pretty unstable so I was left with no choice (and it had been a while so it probably needed it) but to slash and burn. Re-install time.

Then an idea hit me, I had been testing out Windows 7 RC for a little bit on an underpowered laptop by Vista standards (runs awesome on that BTW) but really have had the urge to at least dual boot my primary system so I could really kick the tires.

So what if, instead of re-installing Vista...........

What is it with people going nuts for these free promotions lately?

Just in the past few months I can recall people going nuts for the Denny’s free breakfast, then problems with a Popeye’s chicken promotion, and now the KFC Grilled Chicken / Oprah fiasco.

I just don’t get why people will wait in line for hours, or drive so far out of their way they use more in gas than the cost of the meal. Do people value their time so little?

It doesn’t even have to be a free situation, it can just be a deal (or perceived deal), like the “Black Friday” ads. People have literally been hospitalized and killed by the massive flock of people that show up to get these bargains.

Am I missing something? Let me know in the comments, which are of course free ;)

This is more of a rant but we’ll see how it goes.

What is up with people these days? It’s like someone dumped asshole into the water supply. Everywhere you go people are in general complete dickheads.
